Villian had become a bit more active, he was running 26/10 over 85hnds. Would have called the BTNs alin had villian folded (correct line??). Villians flat seems strong. Is it always correct to fold in this spot as I'm quite deep and won't flop well against two opponents?

fold giving his 4x..pre.
usually means a monster..could be a shove if u feel like u r racing -
awkward stack sizes and the best you can be is 50 / 50 , or dominated.
You are probably up against AQ and AK/JJ or something like that, if you called, there would be no side pot and you would probably try to check it down or fold (unless you hit your set which is unlikely). The whole play would be awkward and if overcards flopped and the villain bet, you would have had to fold.
Folding pre-flop to the shove seems best, especially because you don't want to be flipping this early on with 77bb. -
if pre it was min raise or 3x mayb even 6x im prob jammin
timing tell is important here if he tanked im shoving cos he obv had a tough decision, also if he insta called im jammin cos no1 insta calls with the nizzles, so bascially if he timed down bout half way im folding cos thats obv aa
sometimes if im unsure il spin in my chair 10x and then if i feel im racing i prob fold cos i dont want to flip for most of my stack, altho i know he has 33 im prob calling altho occasionally fold when i know the 3 is coming - mostly on river which sucks -
"sometimes if im unsure il spin in my chair 10x "
Can only get to 6x !!
Great replies tks. Obv I made a horrendous play by spazzing off 40% of my stack with a call / fold to the AKx flop...
FTR BTN had A rag and villian had JJ (bazings range) -
His 4x pre raise is often the sign of a vulnerable hand that he doesn't want callers for. Something like 99-QQ. Maybe smaller pairs? It depends if he has been aggressive or passive before this. Also what has been his usual raise size?
I'm probably folding here because I just don't need to flip with stacks so deep. Calling is out of the question as it's very unlikely you get a flop without overcards and then you're stuck with no further information on his holding. It's shove or fold and you have to much to shove with TT. So Fold here.
Take note of what he shows down against the Button and watch what his standard raise size is. If it differs from 4x then you know what it means next time.
