Would like street by street feedback. Is this fine or should I have not built such a large pot with just nines?
On the flop I felt like I had a deep enough stack to find out if I was up against a limped set or just a weak semi-bluff knowing that I could definately be ahead here. I decided to continue on the turn deciding that a large sized bet would make him fold flush draws, straight draws, 66-77, maybe even TT. On the river I essentially gave up and hoped for a showdown. Got lucky that he chased for half his stack with a flush draw and my hand held. Anyways, is this going to be spew more often than not in this scenario? Still a lot to learn and these awkward pairs are probably one of the weakest parts of my game.

Raise more on flop if your going that route. Just doing real quick math there is 1200 in pot or so 395 more to call? Meh.. Giving him great odds to catch his frush there.

youre absolutely right. im working on playing more tables and one of the downsides is sometimes i dont think clearly enough when throwing raises together and i do careless things like that. good catchv fink thanks for the input. so anyway clearly he isnt afraid to call with the flush draw since he called on the turn only getting about 1.35:1 (iirc, not currently looking at the HH) so hypothetically if i rasie more and he calls anyway, do you mind the 2nd barrel on the turn?

The K would scare me cause everyone catches up to my hands.. I dunno what I would do.. Hes out of the BB he could have a wide variety of garbage.
-
lol what hands do you put in his range that he is bet/calling a raise on that flop with that have a king in them, pretty sure he is re raising preflop with AKcc and most likely stacking off on the flop with it. The turn wasnt a real concern, my only concern was a set and mayybeee TT but much less so.

Good point. However, I think that it's ok to bet a small amount as he did to control the pot. Because regardless of your bet size there, most players simply don't fold flush draws. If the flush card hits the river you minimize your damage.

i honestly think u played it just fine...with the original raiser just flatting the small flop bet it really feels like ur way ahead here with 99. U could check turn but betting seems like the rite play. i rlly dont see much reason to bet the river as ur not gettn called by much that u beat. if villian decides to be difficult and check/jam then wut do u do.
