For this example I will use a stars Turbo and I'd like to see what the best strategy is.
Lets say the blinds are 300 / 600 / 50 and for arguments sake lets say the stacks are exactly even. at 6750. Now limping seems very questionable at this level so the question is what do you push with? If the computer hand is Q 7 does that mean you should push with a Q 8 high or better? Also, as the stacks start to fluctuate does what you want to push change or stay the same? -
I usually push with anything above average for the most part. Usually comes in handy when your opponent is lazy/tired/bored and calls all ins with any garbage because "you could be bluffing."

or when sippin is at your table and just plain sucks at HU

Oh yeah I forgot to reply to the 2nd part. Say it was 300/600 still, but the chip advantage was 2:1. I am still pushing anything above average whether I'm the 1:2 or 2:1, my range doesn't really change a whole lot. Obviously you have to vary your range depending on your opponents range, but that won't make too much of a difference. If the chip advantage was huge, then I am basically pushing any 2. With a small stack, you can't afford to be waiting for a hand losing 1k/orbit, and same goes for being the big stack in the same situation. I am no expert, so if anyone sees any flaws in this thinking please reply!
