  1. hey, i'd like to hear some input on whether or not this is the correct move. blinds 100-200 plus ante, in bb with a premium. i did put the raiser on overcards, knowing it was a coin flip. do i look for another spot to push, or is too late if i fold this? thanks again.

  2. How on earth do you know this is a coinflip? I mean Is there any difference in his 600 raise with 22, AA, A9, or AK? I dunno about you guys but they all look the same to me.

Oh, and yes I call too. His range "should" include many hands you are better than a coinflip against, especially with the chip lead. You are also extremely short, 4/5 in chips.

EDIT: and by call I obviously mean shove, I hope to god you understand that because you have absolutely 0 fold equity you are committing all your chips anyway.
  3. YOu got a tough postion with that 7k stack on your left. I think this is a shove only becasue the 7k stack on your left and when you shove any two he will call with a wider range of hands. The 2k stacks will fold most of there hands once the 395 stack gets knocked out. I think with your postion and the blinds its a shove, but if 7k stack on right and he folds you can shove a wide range of hands and get folds from the 2k stacks. Its a tough spot I think a shove is the best anwser but Sheets whould know more about this since he is a expert on the hands you call with vs stack size vs Blinds. Also note that the 7k stack should be raising alot of hands in this spot. I think he should be shoving pre instead of standard raise with the AK.
  4. Dont mind the shove, you are short and big-stack's range is very wide (would not necessarily put him on 2 overs - much wider than that if he is a thinking player). Go time!

    Cheers, Mark
  5. SCT u call? What r u talking about? SHOVE everyday, and twice on sunday
  6. alrighty then, thanks for the responses. to the first replier, i obv did not KNOW it was a coin flip, but 4-6 previous hands he was raising the same amount preflop, and in all 4 cases they were just high cards. i should not have said i knew, but i made the assumption. thanks for the responses though, i'm learning more every day thanks to p5's.
