i have 5 days to turn $190 on cake into 1400 and cash it out, only really have 4 nights to play, mostly gonna try to go from $25 Heads Up to $36 to $50 upto $75 heads up...
what are the odds i go broke or the odds i hit 1400??? i need to pay off a sports betting debt i have 2 weeks to come up with 700 this week and 700 next week -
Odds of going broke with this strategy: right around 99/100. You'd have to run exceptionally well or be extraodinarily good at h/u to make this happen. Good luck to you, and simply don't bet money you don't actually have in the future. On anything.

I've turned 300$ to 5k in two monts with good br management. Here you will go brooke, putting that timeframe is stupid.

^^^^^^ This x100. If you're betting money you don't have (in poker or anywhere else for that matter), then it's time to own up to your addiction and get some help.

Profession: professional hustler lookin for suckers!
There's your problem. -
I turned $80 into $7k in 2-3 months with pokerstars DONs, bad bankroll management of course. Do or die, imo.

Sports Betting is -EV there never is a sure thing

You will have a much better chance of achieving this goal if you borrow another $500-$700.Really though, sounds like you have a serious problem (besides possibly needing to use your knee caps to repay your debt). Being that far out of your roll you are esentially gambling to pay off gambling. Never ever a good solution. Hope you work this out and get help.

Deposit 200, play 30r on UB, finish second, cash out WU, worked for me the other day

Oddly enough $500 bux could go a long way in Portland Maine. There are a couple of very live bi/triweekly 1/2 and 2/5 NLH games that a few of my buddies have consistently pulled money out of to the tune of 5K or so a month on average. Bunch of old idiots w/ more dollars than sense. No clue how they play so bad for so long, but they certainly fund a good poriton of the Maine poker community.
Good luck!! -
So, Op, just to make this perfectly clear.
You had $500 and backed a friend. You lost, so you owe. Instead of paying, you decided to gamble some more to 'get even' and lost.
Now, your further in the hole, and your solution is to take what you have, and to gamble even more?
How is this going to work? At best, you played out of your roll here and got burned. At worse, your just not a good gambler.
Either way, this is stupid. I would be more tempted to make 2-3 big parlay bets here, and see if one can hit, at least you could get dumb lucky and get out of your mess. But, the more worrisome thing is how you had to point out that 2 of your sports bets you almost won (you feel screwed in them), like that fixes everything. Even if you hit those, it doesn't mean your situation is any better, just that you lucked out of the consequences that time.
But, even if you get out of this, better change your ways, or your going to be broke again. -
Your best odds by far would be to load it all up on the biggest nlhe cash tables you can buy into and try to dub up three times.

Well if I don't get to $500 and cash it out I'll be meeting Crusher and his buddies and I will have to go back living on the sreets. -
You guys dont even know, I grew up in Portland, those streets are mad hood.
For real, gambling more to get back gambling losses(especially sports betting) usually doesnt end well. -
Whoever is telling him he has no shot has clearly never went nuts trying to make money before. I actually just saw my friend turn $250 into 10k in 2 days playing PLO HU cash, a final table in a tournament, then 3/6 HU PLO and 5/10 NL. I used to constantly deposit $200-$300 dollars and run it up to 4-5k and then busting it in the same day (actually was back when I first started playing). You definitely aren't going to "grind" this money up to $1400, you would need to go more for the on a whim/miracle route. You're probably going broke but w/e, just wanted to say that its quite easy to take a small amount of money and play super under-rolled and run it up to 5k+.
-
I think its safe to say your in trouble. Especially when you play with that pressure, your screwed.
-
Dude just in future dont sports bet. Its for losers...
However you have 4 nights to do this, So lets Memphis Raines this and do one last boost!
4 nights = 36 hours
$1200 profit required
$1200/ 36 = $33 profit per hour
18 table $10 double or nothings. Should be able to hit a $33 per hour win rate. -
well i have the money just not in cold hard cash...i have it in 2 pretty white mountains

OP I remembered your name from previous threads so I just went and cruised through your post history.
In April of this year you were posting threads about making the leap to become a pro poker player.
Later on you talked about someone offering you a $2500 backing deal.
Now you're pretty much broke online and beyond broke in real life, betting huge percentages of your roll on sports and chasing losses (something you should never, ever do and wouldn't have to if you didn't make stupid bankroll management decisions).
From looking at your scores too, it's pretty absurd that you only have a couple hundred bucks online unless you cashed it all out and blew it or decided to take shots (more bankroll management issues, surprise).
I think you should withdraw your funds and never play again, tbh. It's clear that you are a gambler and not someone with the mindset to do this right, you have zero sense of bankroll management, and in the long run you are going to fail.
I wish your kneecaps the best of luck.
