TV Pro's when they look at their cards tend to...

    Why do the players on TV tend to sit up and look behind at the back of their cards before even looking at the hand itself? I really only see it from the old school pros like Doyle, Ivey and Negreanu but do any of you do this because they seem to make a habit of it?

    Some claim to do this in order to sit back, using peripheral vision and senses to determine feel and texture of table/players (*other players looking at them, pick up small tells, etc) while at the same time clearing any thoughts of previous hands etc...
