Hello All,

I have not played on UB in about 5 months....This is due to my finacees uncontrollable need to write their customer sevice department nasty emails when he losses. Someday I will play on UB again when I have the time to apologize and get our IP address unblocked. But that is not what this post is about!!!

This post is about why UB is the best site.....

I will try to make this short but as my wedding day gets closer I get more and more excited about my upcomming marraige and life and I feel the need to go on and on and on about it....

UB is the best because I met my future husband playing on their site. I started playing on UB in 2004 about the same time that Rats00 started playing. I became friends with a couple of donkeeeeees that are part of a group known as the Ecrew. I started playing with fellow Ecrewers and learning from some of them. We laughed and joked a lot online and some of us began talking on the phone once in awhile. I was invited to go on trips with them but could never make it.

I was 34 years old when this happened. Every one of my friends was happily married at this time so my life consisted of working 60 hours a week, taking care of my home, and playing online poker. I was satisfied with my single life mostly because of all the idiots I had dated over the years.

In April of 2006 I won a trip on UB to play a tourney in Vegas. I had a 3 hour layover in Philadelphia on my flight home from Vegas and SusieQue called a fellow Ecrewer to meet me at 6 am at the airport. The fellow Ecrewer (who I had chatted with on line several times) was crazy enough to meet me!!!! Rats00 came to meet me and keep me company at 6am....I still think he is nuts for it :)!!! The rest is history....

I moved from Cleveland to AC in September 2006 to be with Rats00....On New Years Eve we got engaged....On August 24th, 2007 we will be hitched!!!!!

I may suck at poker but I got a great man!!!!

Congrats AngryTeeTee......this is actually a great story !!!.....most UB stories end in misery and bounced checks and smashed laptops and threats of murder and suicide.....I am glad your story is a happy one and I am glad love found you in an unexpected way !!!!....

TT, You're so funnnnnnnnnnny! Congrats to you both! But.........what took you so long? I met mine in April on Eharmony (he also plays on UB) and we married July 16th at the WSOP!!!!!!!

TT and Rats....congrats guys and I am happy for you both...I do wish I could make it to the wedding but that isn't going to happen so good luck...try not to lose ALL of your BR and if worst comes to worst...you can always have Rats become a street walker....I know $.10 a trick isn't much..but it IS rats ;)

A poll dancer? That may be a profitable gig, but there are only a few small elections per year and 1 big one every four years... He may not be able to make the mortgage by danicing at teh polls. Maybe he can poll dance and pole dance, that might work financially...

I resent being referred to as "some idiot you dated". Your eleven orgasms in one day has to be some sort of record and you sure enjoyed it at the time. Surely I can be remember in a better way than just one of your idiots. Tell Rats, that to be a good husband, he has to better that!
As far as UB goes my memories are the same (except for meeting and falling in love with Rats). All the friends I made there and E Crew were far better than stars. Unfortunately I couldn't make money there and I do at Stars. Or, at least I don't lose as much at Stars, probably because the players at UB are that much better. (except for JV) I will always look back at learning poker at UB with very fond memories.
This week will probably be very hectic for you but you'll get through it and Friday and the following days will make up for it. At least that's how it was every time I got married. So have a great time and I'll talk to you when you get back from Vegas.

I knew something was wrong when rats00 started to lose. Now I find out he really won. Congrats you two and here's hoping to see you soon.

I've also met lots of really good friends on UB. In fact, it's safe to say that playing on UB changed my life in a huge way, since UltimateBuddy was a big part of what made us realize that there was so much interest out there in following top online players. The Aruba trip is truly great time, and as long as they're having that event, I will be attending.
