Just a question what should i take this for. If someone does use it what should i be thinking?? again thanks for the help.
-
hmmm... not sure what ur wanting to know here. Its a bet like any other. if they bet pot to you, you now have 2-1 odds...
-
laziness.
but in terms of their hand it depends on the stakes, in most cases it means the person isn't that attatched to their hand. -
obviously a pot bet post flop after heavy preflop betting is either a big bluff or they want you to pay to catch up as they have hit. a pot bet preflop is laziness because unless there are alot of ppl already in the hand it won't make the bet high enough to push anyone out. How attached they are to their hand depends upon what percentage of their chips they have put in the pot with the pot bet.

well if you had a membership at cardrunners.com you would understand how and when to use it....

Ok here I give away some of my sng secrets
lets say you get AA, then you might use it if you are in middle to late position with a few callers in front of you. If you get a reraise after you, you are getting more value on the AA pot bet if you reraise your opponent to all in.
lets say you flop a set of 7's and smooth call flop , you can then pot bet turn.
lets say you had A2s and board is AJ2, you could pot bet a flat raise to eliminate and narrow opponents. Rarely will an AJ player have allowed you to see a pot cheaply enough to have played the A2s to begin with.
lets say you had 56s and board is A65J5, you could pot bet the flat raiser that thought he sucked you in cos he had smooth called or min raised his AJ. A lot of fish won't stop and think but just reraise because they don't stop to think ; hmmm do you have 56 sooooted (btw one of my favourite pockets and a huge trap hand) -
It is a tool for amateurs and fools. It does allow them to disguise their hands a bit, because they never have to think about how much to bet. If they think they have the best hand, they hit the bet pot button. It is the reason that I refuse to play at UB.

It is the reason you refuse to play at ub is bullshit
IT is a simply a tool UB uses to speed up play instead of you having to waste time playing with the slide bar. It may reduce carpell tunell .It helps end a low buy in sng quicker so that they can get the entry fees out of the turnover of sng's. Could it be that the fools and amateurs at UB are not the donkeys you regulary beat at your site -
