UB Bonus Question

    111% dep. bonus on UB for new players. If I wanted to do the whole ~$650 deposit, what games should I be playing to take advantage of the 111% bonus and make it clear the fastest? I am comfortable 6-8 tabling. Any advice helps.

    this bonus is awful and incredibly hard to clear

    deposit somewhere else and do yourself a favor

    Had no idea if it is a drag to clear. Is it b/c there is alot less traffic on cereus than stars or FTP?

    .50/$1 stud 8b

    every two hands which reach a buck in pot size and get raked give you one point

    not uncommon to get 30 or so for half hour session at one table

    Last I looked it was faster to clear bonuses off of AP than it is UB, assuming you put in a little volume. For whatever reason FAME and RAISE have different requirements. On both site they pay the bonus to you in $5 increments.

    I do know that if you were Gold status on AP the bonus would clear like you were getting 25% rakeback (this was figured out by playing SNGs/MTTs, I'm not sure if it comes out the same way playing cash).

    If you get rakeback, they don't deduct the bonus from it, FWIW. So for every $1 you spend in rake you get back .55 in bonus/rakeback as a Gold member.

    It takes a very long time to clear on UB. Because you only get pts for hands you actually put money in the pot yourself. It took me a month and about 21000 hands of 50c/1 Limit to clear 125 bonus. 650 will take you a long time. Good Luck though.

    The bonus takes time to clear, and really, you hardly notice the bonus with it coming in $5 increments, also depending on your rai$e status level to determining how frequently your raking in Ultimate points.
    Personally, i felt the Stud ring games at .25/.50 or .50/1.00, with me at the 'contender' level and playing 3 or 4 tables was the best for my Ultimate point value, hence i would unlock $10 of bonus money in a session of 1 hour, or 1.5 hours.

    Maybe it's bad for mtt'ers. But I clear an avg of 250-400 a month on AP or UB depending on which I play most that month.

    UB actually has a better rate as less hands per point needed. And that also adds up with points for cash too. Add that to free dueces cracked for making MGR target at RB site (stox if I play AP more), + RB.

    Hmmmm. Yeah there are worse places to play

    I started my online poker play on UB and I quit because as far and bonuses/comps, theyre extremely unfriendly to non-high stakes players.

    Im pretty sure that bonus will stay there forever (until you clear it obviously) but if hardcore bonus-whoring is your thing and you can move money around fairly easily, absolute is much much better for you...just dont forget to get rakeback along with it, especially because bonuses arent taken out of it.
