I won 2 ....4K WSOP packages for event #33. I requested 1 of the packages be transfered to the person i sold the package to. First they did not send the package to the rio until just before the event started which was very frustrating for both buyer and seller. They finally get the seat squared away minutes before the event starts. only after i track down phil hellmuth, who then tells us to talk to annie duke who finally gets someone on the (super secret) phone. ( why they dont use phones is beyond me).................................then they dont credit the buyers account with the $1000 travel. so the buyer thinks im trying to rip him off for $1000. since he has already paid me. and as you know UB does not use phones everything is done through email and fax which is just a horrible way to do business...cause they are sooooo slow to respond. so after sending several emails and by several i mean prolly 25 emails. cause each time is a different rep responding and no one knows what is going on. they keep saying they are forwarding it to the correct department.
So now 2 days after the event ended they still have not sent him the $1000 travel money. so once again I am emailing them to try to get the travle money squared away. finally after several responses from staff that has no idea what is going on. cause each time you email them a different rep answers. the next morning I get an email back saying that they have completed the transaction and the buyer has recieved the $1000 for travel. so i say cool, finally they get it right 2 days after the event is over. and i can stop stressing about $1000..........so i sign on my account to play some poker.
AND I FIND OUT THAT THEY TRANSFERED $1000 FROM MY ACCOUNT TO THE BUYER!!!!!!!!!

right now i am so ff uu kkk iii nnn gggg frustrated with this web site i am almost sorry i won anything from here.
so now once again, i am sending several emails and faxing to them to let them know not only that they really screwed up this transaction but that thier customer service really sucks and have no idea what is going on.
its a shame too, cause i really do like playing there. but i dont think i will try to qualify to the big events there anymore. It was really a big hassle to get any kind of response from them and then when they did finally respond they screwed it all up. I dont know what else to do. cant call them cause i guess they never heard of a phone. I have sent them my phone number several times and they not once have tried to call me to assure me that everything was going fine.
still waiting for a response while $1000 has been duducted from my account to pay for the $1000 travel money that was supposed to be included in the 4K package.
unfukinbelievable.
kind of like the moron who calls my preflop raise deep in the tounament with Ace rag. flop misses him completly i bet big he calls with ace high and turns an ace to bust me out 150th. 50 places from the money. WTF how do you call with ace high there?? how do you call a preflop raise of 5 times the big blind with ace rag??? beyond my understanding.
guess im still fuming about that too...... thank god i killed the satalites for 15 large.
another things is why didnt they have a representative from UB working the WSOP??? a lot of the other sites were there in full force. full tilt had its own room set-up right next to the poker room. dont get me started about the SNG's!!!!!!! horrible horrible horrible!!!!!
anyways im sooooo frustrated with ub customer service. needed a place to come and vent.

No the $1000 for the second seat was never transferred to anyones account.

Hello Hard_8.
When you win a second seat to a tournament like this you can transfer the prize to another player, but we have to credited the the whole package to the player you decided to. Please send us the information about who's going to be the fortunate one. Remember we are going to transfer the whole package even the $1000 cash, keep this in mind when you're going to sell it or donate it.

I've had similar customer service problems on UB. I will receive a response 3 days later (24hr respone promised) and when I do receive my reponse it doesn't answer the question asked. UB is my favorite site to play on which makes it more frustrating.
