  1. soooo I'm playing a late night $11r to the UBOC 1k. The tourney somehow gets all messed up and gets stuck at the 30-60 level, with rebuys still allowed for like an extra hour and a half. The tournament was scheduled to have rebuys until the first break, after 1 hour. Instead we get to rebuy for about 2 hours. We do finally get a break, but even then the hand right after, somebody busts and is able to rebuy!! Only onced we reached the final table (people got sick of it and quit, but coulda rebought if they pleased), did the blinds finally go up, and no longer were people given the option to rebuy. Then, all of a sudden, a few minutes ago, at the 100-200 level, the tournament was randomly stopped with no warning or message watsoever.

soooo I'm glad to see its so easy to satty into these UBOC events...sigh

also obv the money was not returned to my account

this post is prob a waste of time, but maybe just maybe somebody from UB is reading this?

  2. Ultimate Bet sucks ass I dont know how people can still play there
  3. New tournie idea...unlimited rebuys until all but 1 gives up

p.s. sounds like their software is as good as their customer support
  4. wow that is funny s**t

can rebuy on the FT looooooooooooooooooooooool

    this has made my day....

but people still play on that site? wasnt there also an issue about players sitting out and not getting blinded off? which is apparently one of their UNWRITTEN rules LMFAO

    too fkn funny
  5. because their cash games are SOFT!
  6. I still play there because their software interface, and tournament structure is the best out there.
    1
  7. Yeah, that really sounds like some great tournament structure.
  8. I have seen a few other things lately.

In one satellite. 19 players started with 2500 chips. The other 6 only started with 1500 chips.

Rebuy Tourneys where no one was able to addon.

Rebuy Tourneys where one table could addon, but other couldn't.

My main complaint occurs if I haven't rebooted within the last few hours. If I have a lot of programs up, and do something simple like drag a UB table to another spot, it will sometimes lock my whole computer.

the funniest bug is on bodog however. On my laptop, when I get moved to a new table, the new page is mostly invisible. Maybe I can see the players, but nothing else. I can make it visible by minimizing and then maximizing it. Problem is, the minimize button is invisible, as are all the graphics around it. So I have to find an invisible button before I can play...

  9. by far the funniest thing about UB is the cards...try to make the screen bigger using their new "adjustable" tables...it is downright hilarious...looks like microsoft paint...

and the way they accomlished this the community cards stay the same size NO MATTER what...so if you maximize the screen your hole cards are huge...like joker huge and the community cards are like little specs in the middle...just laughable really

    what a joke...

the UBOC is pretty sweet though, seems like they are getting a nice turnout....

  10. Anybody with a grain of self-pride should refuse to post anything in which they admit they still play at UB. If you're looking for pain and suffering, why not just hit yourself in the head with a hammer every few minutes? T'would be easier and simpler, although admittedly not with the same panache that UB puts into it.
  11. I think DuckU is ok with playing at UB.
  12. Speaking of adjustable tables, is it just me or can you not "adjust" the table size after "maximizing" the table size? Instead, you have to hit the "minimum" size button then "adjust" the table size to your liking. It's always the little things that UB screws up on.
  13. Hey Darth.
If you take any standard windows window like IE or explorer or any of those and you maximize, can you resize it after? NO you cannot. You have to restore it or make it smaller to accomplish this. This is standard windows controls....
