  1. got my refund today from Fridays $40+4 satellite to the Sunday 125k....i was 11th w/ 18 people remaining when the tourney froze and 16 spots paid a seat to the 125k and 17th paid $120......I was refunded $162, I know i should be happy i got money from them but shouldn't I have got more than that w/ only 1 person left not to get paid.....what do you guys think?
  2. Hmm, at least they paid out more than the buy-in, cuz normally if the tourney isn't ITM, you just get the buyin back.

Still, if they are going to pay out on that, why not pay according to placement and give you your darn seat?

  3. I would ask them how they made their calculations and how many players there were in the tournament.........the buy in was $40 + 4 so you should be able to check their calculations to be sure there wasn't a mistake...........
  4. I'm just happy they're finally doing something. Was in the top 15 of the Fri $30 when my table went down due to too few players, ended up in 44th by the time the whole tourny froze. Got credited $85 today. Were over 100 players left in that one, so I'm sure there's a few that were short stacked that are really happy.
  5. Yeah according to my chip equity I got shorted $7 from my $131 (I have a screenshot of the tournament lobby so I know I was correct with my calculations).

I know that's not alot but it just shows you how they work at UB. Probably skimped a few grand from all of the prize pools for themselves. I know LebanonJon got $1000 when his equity was just below $1200. Wonder where the money went???
  6. I think the "chip equity" method is really pretty fair. I don't see how else you can do it.

I got $365 in a $320 entry. I was below avg in chips -- think I had 1850 when it stalled when we started w/ 2500. Blinds I think were at 15/30. I think about 8-10 people out of 60 had been eliminated. I feel this is more than fair. If I had known this was going to happen I would have folded every hand. lol.
