UB Tourneys Rebuy with points warning

    Hey all - just a warning about a dumb mistake I made over the weekend that hopefully you can be spared from -

    I entered a $3 rebuy tournament on UB (yah I know, big stakes :P) and got beat all-in during the rebuy period. UB brought up a message box asking if I wanted to rebuy with cash or ultimate points. I had been planning on rebuying with cash, but when the option came up I thought "oh cool! I didn't realize I had enough points for this!" so I chose the option to rebuy with points.

    Immediately UB tells me something to the effect of "Not enough ultimate points" and boots me out of the tourney with no option to rebuy with cash :(

    Anyway, just thought I'd pass this along to help prevent some future headaches.

    if you werent sure you had enough.....

    i've bought w/ points a few times, but only for the $3 stuff.

    Doh - thanks mmobius - I should have mentioned that the danger is when you don't have enough points it doesn't let you rebuy with cash.

    yeah,.. i had the same thing happen to me in one last year's wsop $20 rebuys. UB had no problem refunding my buyin for the tournament. I thought they had fixed this bug.. i guess not.

    probablty not worth the effort to hit them up for the $3 ; )

    seems like they could display your points balance in the window, or have a second chance to re-buy with cash.
