UB's UFC 115 tickets (did I win?)

    So UB had a promo for Canadians only (it had this in the lobby of each freeroll plus the main event) There were 3500 runners in the main event and I lost HU to a non-Canadian. I have the screen prints of both the chat where he said he was not canadian plus the lobby shot where it shows he won and I was second.

    What will UB do?

    a) Let the non-Canadian claim the prize.

    b) award it to the next eligible Canadian (me)

    c) dq the winner and keep the prize.

    Try emailing to nancy's email... nancy@ub.com she was great at making sure some tickets I won to a calgary flames game got sorted out .

    Well they called me today and confirmed that the other guy got disqualified due to not meeting the prerequisites spelled out in the tournament lobby.

    I have since signed all the paperwork and answered the skill testing question (its a Canadian thing) and should be booking my flight tomorrow. So it seems I did win!

    I have to give credit where it is due. UB has really managed this promotion well. They did a stand-up job including sending me some shirts/hats to wear at the event AND covering my hotel/flight expenses that exceeded the $1k allotment they advertised. That's right, they exceeded expectations! I am amazed and impressed that they went this fat to ensure my guest and I have a memorable trip. Now to book the fishing excursion.

    Yo man similar thing happened to me, I witnessed this guy getting killed in cold blood. The killer saw me and chased me into an alley, he took my liscense and phone # so he knew where I lived, then he gave me 1k to keep it on the DL. I gotta give him credit as he coulda shot me, and he payed me out immed.
