    I'm finally signing up for UB to play in the open, and I'm reading all this points stuff and I see they have a whole Points games side in between playmoney and realmoney.
    Anyone have any crazy stories about building an Ultimate Point bankroll? I know Riley's .11 got him into the Open, but I'm more interested if any longtime playmoney players earned a few Ultimate points and parlayed them into a Harley or a Plasma TV.
    Susie Que? I know from your article you played quite a bit of Play money before you moved over to take our money ; )

    I don't have any stories, but I can tell you that I have over 160,000 Ultimate points.

    Just 1.84 million more and you could buy an Aruba trip! Wow 160K that's pretty good-- That's all from real money play I assume. Ever slum at the points tables? I'm sure the play there is similar to Play money, so you could probably clean up.

    Points are the freakin' bomb!! It's like free money and no matter how much money you have it's crazy not to take advantage. I've been scaming the points system on Poker stars for awhile now but only recently began taking advantage of UB.

    Biggest Points Win:

    Poker Stars: $16,000 trip to Monte Carlo

    Ultimate Bet: $9,000 Aruba trip from a $300 entry
    (I did win a $300 entry using FPPs but didn't win the trip on that specific entry, but this sounds much better)

    Texas Troll... nice story, but you sound like you WON the trip, not earned it from Ultimate Points. Last I heard from PhilHellmuth, he has just over 1 million in his account, which isn't enough to get more than a nice TV or BBQ Grill.

    and Troll Maybe that SPECIFIC TEC didn't win you the trip, but since we don't win 100% of the time the extra chance went a long way to getting you there, right? ; )

    UB points are lame. Unless you take them and play at the points tables to build them up you basically got nothing.

    I don't play at party anymore, but in 6 months time I built up points so fast there that I have an entire wardrobe of shirts, hats, travel bags, Suede jackets and more...it was insane..

    I still have points in that account I haven't used.

    I think it is cool that you can play the ultimate points. I played a 500 pt MTT w/mine, placed first and had enough points from that and playing at the point tables to get a PS2 and a new Ping putter.
