I need someone good to tell me why you throw out bets like 3666 with 600/1200 blinds or 2735 with 500/1k blinds. Seriously, I think sites should only allow bets in increments of the smallest chip on the table just like in live play, but I want to know why people do this.
Personallly, I will probably continue to do it, but I think it's dumb. No one likes an uneven stack. -
it makes my bet look HUUUUUGE.

I can no longer count the times I have gotten a call from the BB because they thought I was all in and they end up check folding the flop. Of course one of these days they will hit something big on me but that alone has made it profitable.

Who is to say what the smallest chip on the table is???? Online peoples stacks arent made in chips until they bet so that arguement is gone. A lot of people will bet 2699 at 500/1000 blinds in order to save chips if they were to get reraised. If you make it 3k insetad for every time u get repopped and fold you are wasting 301 chips, which adds up a lot quicker then you think. Also it allows player to control pot sizes, which in turn cuts down on the amount of your continuation bet as well as other bets on later streets. One last thing is some player will think you are all in and call you light not realizing you just raised or they will see the big stack and without thinkning click the fold button b/c they think you bet more then you actually did. I don't see why you have a problem with this as it is a very useful tool to use and can save you tons of chips while controlling the pot size.
