  1. Hey all, i just read foxes great article about bankroll requirements for SNG play and subsequently deposited $220 to play the 6 man SNGs on UB at the $10 level, that gives me twenty buy ins and as such would give me a 10% chance of going broke. Howvever if i am an amazing player (which BTW im not / on good days i can win alot but obv not all time) i could realistically have no chance of going broke, IS their ne1 who plays on here at an SNG level way above their bankroll say less than 10 buy ins but consistently wins due to their talent and skill level over their competitiors, cos i think 20 buyins is good for me. but surely some players only use like 10 cos they are way better than competition.

By the way variance is a bitch!!!!!!!!!!!! any comments storys
  2. you said it right there, "variance is a bitch" YOu answered yor own question. the reason y there is Fox's Bankroll Mgmt article is because of variance. It can happen to the most skilled and most talented players. Stick to your bankroll mgmt, if you can kill at the 10 , THEN move up. Double that 220 and move up. Good luck

  3. if you are a winning player and you don't plan to cash out anytime soon, 20 buyin is probably going to be okay for you (like 10% go bust in the beginning). But I am assuming that your Bank Roll will soon grow higher than 20 buyins and you keep the money in the account. If you are talking about keeping just 20buyins in your account at most, your chance of go busto is nearly 100% even if you are a great player
