In the article by Fox he states that for an "Unproctected Roll" for Holdem you should have 200 Big Bets and for NL Holdem you should have 15 Buy-ins...
When he says Holdem does he mean limit?
And for No Limit Holdem he says 15 buy-ins...for a cash game of .50/1.00 where the buy-ins are $20 minimum and $100 maximum, I assume you take the higher # x 15.
So to play in the .50/1.00 ring games you should have a minimum of $1500 to play at that level? -
I'd go closer to 25 buyins @ the max to be safer.
2.5K to play .50/1
5 to play 1/2
10 to play 2/4 etc.
I guess it depends how many tables you are playing, plus I dont play a whole lot of cash. I've just heard from 2/4+ regulars that you should probably have 25 buyins to be properly rolled.
