  1. I haven't played on UB in a while and I wanted to play some of the sats for UBOC. I remember seeing before that they had some must-play events meaning you had to play that tournament if you won a seat for it. Is that still the case or can I unregister for any tournament and keep the tournament dollars? I appreciate any help.

    Thanks
  2. If you satellite into a must play event you cannot unregister. Any other event you satellite into you can unregister and get TD's. If you register with cash for a must play event, then win a satellite for the same event the satellite $ is paid to you in TD's. You can then unregister your cash buyin for a full refund. Some people actually "grind satellites" (as weird as it sounds) and do this all day.

  3. I satted events 1, 2 and 3 and all of them are MUST PLAY, if you look at the event it will say whether it is a must play (i believe) if not, odds are they all are considering all three of mine are. hope it helps.
  4. Thanks guys. Both of your responses helped. I didn't see where it said "must play" but now I see it. Thanks again.

  5. So if you are 2 spots away from winning a satellite and you quick register for the target tournament in cash, then win the satellite, can you get T$ then unregister the cash that you registered the tournament for?
  6. Ya if you are playing in any satellite I would suggest that you sign up for the real event 1st, that way you can get T$. So if you win you don't have to play.

  7. You better play everyone as if its a "must play" Rather or not the lobby specifically says "must play"

I won a sat last night with the intention of unreg and i was not allowed. In this specific sat, nowhere in the lobby did it say "must play" So be warned.
