    Anyone know when the USPC- taj majal from last year will air on spike tv? Also what do you guys think the turnout will be this year now that pokerstars is promoting it?

    Welpppp... since I was CL like 3 different times that tourney and didnt cash, hopefully never... :)

    Good question. I was there playing in a $300 tourney while Men the Master and that other guy were playing it out for 1st and 2nd... pretty funny seeing them film a tourney that got less than 100 players. Doubtful they'll ever air it if they haven't already!

    I'm dying to know what the turnout will be this year (specifically for the lower buyin tourneys). Back in 05-07 the USPC $300-$500 events were my favorite live tournaments to play (always between 200 and 400 players), and I was real disappointed when I took a couple years off and went back last year to play in an 80 person (?!) $300 tourney. I guess no one likes playing at the Taj anymore when they can have the comfort of the Borgata, but I did love those USPC tourneys. I'm hoping the Poker Starts effect (along with some new deep stack 2-day tourneys) works to bring this series back from the dead. I have a room booked the weekend of the 13th to play the 2-day deepstack $800 event...

    Anyone know the results for the first tournament? PokerPages doesn't have them posted yet.

    I'll report back next week... I'll be playing the $400 omaha 8 on Tuesday and maybe the $600 omaha 8/stud 8 rotation the next day.

    They got 150ish for their opening event $360 deepstack.

    stars isn't making people play the event, so not to much help there.

    You'll be lucky to get 60 in the O8.

    Borgata deepstack starts tomm i think.

    Yeah I just noticed the results on Poker Pages today. 150, not terrible... if they can get at least that many players in the $740+60 I plan on playing, I'll be real happy with that prize pool.
