Was wondering if anyone from outside the states had applied for one of these?
Would certainly make travelling to Vegas easier and allow you to stay in the country for longer that the 90 days that the visa waiver gives you. In particular was wondering what anyone who plays poker for a living disclosed regarding their state of employment (or lack thereof) and what you had to prove to the authorities in order to get one? I am looking at applying for one and being in Vegas for most of the summer, so was just wondering if anyone else had tried this and had any tips or advice?
Any help appreciated. -
cant you just leave the country for 1 day and come right back in?

yes but you can't just go to canada or mexico you have to go back to your home country (which is a full day of travel each way and thousands of dollars for me) or you have to go to leave the continent I think (not sure if south america is good enough). plus if you do this too much then they start asking a lot of questions about what you are doing and may refuse you.
My mate (who's a pro beach volleyballer) just got one of these so now he has a multiple entry visa that lasts for 10 years and he can stay up to 6 months on each entry. For a few hundred bucks i'd much rather get one of these. Only issue is not sure what to say with regards to playing poker and if anyone else had tried this before.
The main issue is they don't want you to use it to work illegally in the country, so your employment is relevant, and thought other poker players may have tried to go down this path.
Leaving and returning is also an option, albeit a much more costly and time consuming one.
