  1. Sometimes i might just fold this UTG, and if a bigger stack pushed I could fold easily but i have a decent stack at the blind level so is this a call or fold here?

  2. snap call
  3. In a $4.40 I would advocate a call here.

It is prolly a 50/50 unless you run into AA, KK, or AK. (which is always a possibility, but as I mentioned, its a $4.40 and I see ppl push all pp JJ and under preflop.)

    Jester,
If it were a higher buy in, say 20+, and you had a 15BB stack. What would you do with JJ and under here?
  5. depends on the players in the hand, tbh.

I would seriously consider mucking this preflop against certain players.

Currently I mostly play on FTP and I would insta muck this in a $20r, $30r, and in a 10r or less there is a good possibility that I am going to ship it all in with JJ.

In the Freeze Outs that I play on FTP (generally $26) again it depeends on the players in the hand, but I am not a huge fan of A/Q, it is a trouble hand with too much action preflop. Same goes with JJ and under here.

Mostly though it depends on the opponents in the hand. I see a lot of the same players over and over again in the tourneys I play, it really helps me with these types of decisions.

In the $4.40's on PS it is really tough to go up against the same opponents over and over again, which makes the reads harder, and the competition is not as good as in higher level buyins.
  6. With no particular read, this is an easy call. With only 1590 left a lot of people start to get desperate at this point and will shove almost anything if they think they can get a hold of that pot.

As purely a pot odds problem, you are paying 1290 to win 2040. With AQ being a top 10 hand, I don't even need to run ICM to know this is a great spot getting about 1.8-1.
  7. This is an auto call situation, you've already put too much into the pot to fold for 1300 chips, AQ utg is a tricky hand to play, sometimes I advise limping, some players will respect it in low limit games because the utg limp with AA and KK is veryyy common. I say you played it pretty standard, like I said, you couldn't fold there, results?
  8. Def a turbo snap call in a 4.40, then post hand on forum when his JJ holds to assure yourself you made the right call :)

  9. If you got your entire roll on the line, you must fold acequeen here, but if you have a couple hundred dollars in your account and you are just trying to have a good time in a small buy in turbo, snap call, but if you are getting staked or you are trying to make something out of a busted 50 dollar deposit, fold acequeen and wait for a "feel-better hand"
