  1. Really don't have any reads on the villian. I was multi tabling so play is against complete rando. The river is obviously what I am looking for input on. A5 as well as AcXc were two hands that I put him on before the river so it's definitely a scare card. If he has an A though does villian ever check raise this river with it?

  3. Hmn... IMO, I don't usually raise with small medium pairs if there are two or even one busy calling centers behind me

what does this have to do with the op's question?
What's the buyin? Might help in determining what hands the players are floating the flop with.

Edit: And he didn't raise, he called.

  5. I doubt he ever has A5 or AcXc in this spot. and I've seen people who c/r with A in this similar situations but it's very unlikely..
I really like your turn bet size. as play on the river I'd just check back
  6. I don't mind checking behind here.
  7. most of time vilain bet this river with a A......

    my 2 cents

  8. vs rando im betting here.

if he raises with air then ur in a tough spot. i think he most likely only raises with you beat. so you can most likely fold if he comes over top.

if you fail to bet and he has a hand that wouldve called then you lose out on value.

You cant not bet because you are scared of getting raised...thats nit sissy poker, might as well not play if you have this mind set.

my play is bet and fold to raise
gonna be hard for most people to bluff raise river here.
  9. Raise flop. As played b/f river small imo

  10. villain clearly has an overpair to the 5, but lower than the A

  13. Thanks for all the input guys. Not sure why but I really felt like it was a trap. I checked back and he just had a busted club draw so I wasn't getting paid off anyways. The results didn't matter though. I just wanted the input you all gave on whether in the early stages of a tournament if it is +EV to bet every time or check behind when you might have been sucked out on the river but you could still get out of the hand with chips by checking it back. Oh and I took the buy in out of it because I felt like I would get less biased or even more feedback. I think it was a $12 90 man K.O. on FT though. Again thanks for the input.
