Read some thread about Clonie Gowen so did some googling. Found out her argument is that she had a verbal agreement for 1% of Full Tilt which is now estimated at being worth 4 billion. Looked into pokerstars and their estimated worth is approx 2 billion. Could that be right, and if so is Full Tilt earning all of this extra value from poker shows in the US such as PAD, NBC Heads up, Face the Ace, etc ??? Full Tilt has a good hold on the media market in the US but I didn't think it would account to more then what pokerstars does world wide. (data from wikipedia could be false). Any input?

I have no further insight on this but I have an extremely hard time believing FT is worth twice as much as Poker stars. There's just no possible way this is true.

I too thought that pokerstars would be worth more, but the value of a company comes from many more variables than just amount of people on the site. Perceived value comes from the intellectual property that FullTilt has and yes that does include their TV shows. Also, the value of a company now obviously includes all future revenues and since FT has been around for a shorter period than PS and has done this well, people may think that growth is going to continue.
P.S. I was at a WSOP table with cloutier (which was humorous in its own right), but he kept going on and on about how lederer said Gowen isn't going to get a dime from FT.
