    Anybody ever play in the $550 Friday/Saturday NL tournaments at the Venetian in Vegas? Was thinking of going down there because they start you with 10k chips and 40 min levels, which sounds decent. Was wondering how many people usually play in it as well.

    Anyone know/have any info about these?

    I've never done the $550, but I've done the $125s about 5 times. Great poker room and tournament structure. They get a good crowd for the tournies you're talking about I just wasn't in town for them.

    You think Friday's noon tourney will get over 60 people (one site's avg estimate), or would it be better to wait for saturday's noon tourney?

    Saturday noon $540 always gets over 100 players.... If you want a big field the "Orleans Open" starts saturday with a $220 buy in and GREAT strucutre!
