    im going down on the 9th for a couple weeks...anyone gonna be playing in those events too?

    I really like this series. Over the summer, the fields were massive. The $500 events were drawing 800+ entrants. Great bang for the buck if you can muster up some run good. I have zero success in these events but I'll be back next summer if my schedule allows.

    I feel ya man....last November I pretty much played every $340 and one $550 on the weekend for the whole month....didn't make one dinner break :(

    Fields won't be quite as massive as when it coincides with WSOP, but still worth playing. I went down the other day and they had over 400 in the first event. There are also a ton of other tournaments throughout the city to play if you bust.
