Very tough tough hand in Bodog 200+15 thoughts..

    <H1>Little backround on the hand: Head2782 had jus gotten to the table a few orbits before he is one of the best on bodog and had not played more then 1 pot in 18 hands. the reason i called on the flop was because I knew the better was weak and bluffing and was gonna bet 500 on the turn if it got headsup.

    Rock, I've played with you on Bodog often and you seem solid. But that flop call is terrible. That said, you backdoor into a flush. It's about half your stack, but after you lead out 700. It's 2600 more to call, def. getting the odds considering you are holding a flush. If you are beat, you beat yourself with your flop call.

    but since u did, and then u continued to hit ur flush, i think you have to go with it there, why call the flop in the first place?

    I think your beat. Ive played with Head several times and I think he has the boat here. I probably still make the crying call with those odds but you pay for playing 3 handed here.

    OK everyone - we all agree that call on flop was horrible - but move on to the rest of it.

    This smells like AK. He limps UTG, smooth calls a small raise on flop - checks a blank on turn. I think if he has the FH (or hell, even quad K's), he min raises on the river to $1400 to try and milk this. The all-in bet (to me) indicates that he has you on air and that his AK is good (possibly with Ad - so he knows you don't have nut flush). I think I have to call this. (EDIT - and suffer the barbs that would come your way for playing these hands).

    if youre gonna call the flop (not recommended obv) then you have to bet the turn regardless of what card comes out.
