    im going london on the weekened.. got a nice mtt schedule was wondering how the players are there??

    unfort i wont be playing 10,000nl that they have there :(

    Are you already registered to play there? There is a one day "cooling-off" period that you need to account for.

    pretty sure there is no such thing as a cooling off period in the UK any more, there used to be but casinos would miss out on too much value from drunks coming in and spanking plenty of money

    When I went and visited my sister who was living there for a while, I more than paid for my weeks stay there by playing cash games there.

    When I was there, it was mostly pot-limit hold-em. Sometimes it's even player dealt. I found the players to be very fishy especially the women.

    From what I just read, it looks like the 24 hour membership rule is no longer in effect. Previously, they made u go to each casino and sign up. Then you couldn't enter under that time the next day. The reasoning was they wanted you to have the ability to cool off and change your mind about playing.

    The cooling off period has been scrapped.So long as you have ID you can join and play at the Vic on the same night.Gl!

    I play down there regularly

    the 1/1 games are self dealt which has a session charge. not sure but ist like £6 an hour or something like that

    the have a 1/2 rake table which is dealer dealt. They some time open more table depending on how many names are on the list. Last time i was there it was the only rake game the rest are session charged.

    Limits go up 1/3, 2/5 and up.

    Also have PLO 2/5+

    And round of each but this doesnt run to often

    I wud def suggest you stay away form the 1/1 self dealt game. just not a profitable game.... ever

    The 1/2 rake is good. Lots of limping but easily beatable.

    1/3 and up has the better players and alot less fish throwing money about
