    Its pretty simply to understand peoples frustration...extremely solid tournament players that have prolly 4/5Xs the expectation as vietcong over the long run get a little bitter when they see him run through 6k fields and fields of the best players in the world like its his job. Making in a few months what very good players make over 2/3 years jus makes you kinda uneasy esp when its someone who is so limited fundamentally.

    I dont actually hate vietcong I just chose to use that to get my point across of how grossly someone can just continually run unfathomable amounts over there long term expectation.

    I do stand by my statement that I dont think hed be a winning player in $20-$50 tournys over a 10k tourny sample size.

    you may be right but that doesnt take away from the fact that any player can be a winning player in the short term. especially when you have the type of playing style he has which is GREATLY rewarded in mtts, and like i already said mtts are most luck due to how amazing you have to run to actually win one.

    Seriously ppl say he does -EV plays but thats bc the hands they actually get to see out of him are marginal but how often do you think he outplays his opponents with those unusual hands and we dont see it! I was really impressed with his post flop play its really sick and really throws ppl off how he flat calls big reraises preflop and then outplays them. Most good players just push good hands and flip. I think alot of ppl are jealous and he is really starting to rack up the wins u cant argue with that.

    I have never seen anyone win so many 30/70's ever. Consistently getting it in as a huge dog and winning regardless is not outplaying people, its not a new misunderstood style of poker.

    Sum1 tell me they have not seen zangbezan or Below pull of sick moves with marginal holdings. I think he ressembles those sick players in a way they are not really the solid type. More creative and aggresive feeling players who show tremendous instinct. Very few are blessed to be able to pull that style off. Vietcong01 pwns

    We live in a fast food industry... What is happening NOW gains more creedence than long run expectation. In addition to this, the poker db fails to accurately count buy ins in rebuys which inflates vietcong's ROI.
    We make fun of the "nerds" over at 2+2 all day long, yet we have no idea what a true sample size looks like, while they DO. We are still on a new horizon in terms of tourney poker. Its not all skill as some say, nor is it luck as others say, but the sample sizes that we base our judgements upon are far to small for accurate measurement.

    In terms of Vietcong...

    The dude is awfull and he is an angle shooting POS. I have seen him on multiple occasions act like he doesn't understand a word of English until he is clearly in need of something. Mark my words. He will give all his money back and more. Just don't expect it to happen this week.

    either way it doesnt really matter comparing those two to vietcong is still pretty dumb

    countless good players in this thread said he is a very awful player and makes a ton of -EV moves which is far from how below and zang play
