    Daut, were you being sarcastic? because if opening for a 5 bb raise HU and folding for the other 15 bb's is worth learning, then I'd like to quit tournaments.

    i think a lot of the stuff he does is obviously horrible, but there are things that he does that have hidden merit that people havent realized yet and i think there is a lot of undiscovered stuff about tournament poker and a ton of room for improvement

    one thing is for sure. no one gives him fucking credit because he plays so fucking retarded sometimes. obv that works out for him sometimes.

    i just don't get it at all. i watched eli elezra and sam farha totally duff chips off in high stakes poker monday, i watched phil hellmuth, eli elezra and gabe kaplan totally make themselves look like horse-tards in the 50k horse tonight, and vietcong does this and wins the 1k. and all of those ppl i mentioned have so much more money than me.

    makes me want to slit my wrists sometimes lol.

    We can argue with his results when he is possible the worst winning player on pokerstars. My jaw drops everytime he cashes, let alone FTs or wins something.

    I met and played with him and his daughter on two seperate days in the barcelona main event, they´re both very nice people... also i agree with daut, there are so many undiscoveredd strategies in NL Holdem mtt´s.... there are lots of players that win consistentlty in tournaments that are not fundamentally sound... like me for instance

    I think if anything vietcong serves as proof of the importance of aggresion in NLHE mtts. The fact that he has so much success despite making so many fundamental mistakes (altho who am i to talk having just been owned by him =/ ) just goes to show that being too aggro>>>>>>>>being too passive and the ones that really lose money at poker arent neccessarily the ones that appear to be the worst from what hands they show down etc.

    ive been seeing this guy play, and a lot of his plays are unorthodox, but i like his style, even though it looks to a lot of people hes donking off his chips.

    Donk play is bound to pay off far better at high stakes, takes alot of balls. He'd be crap at smaller stakes.

    you see the times he makes those bets with 44 and gets called and looks like an idiot. how many times do you see when he makes those bets and gets a weak A to muck? or hits his straight or set and gets a huge stack and busts somebody? or happens to have a better hand or a better ace?

    I think its in the same way that everyone says comeonphish is horrible, yet he always seems to crush. I think since people see blatantly idiotic plays, and think that the guy doesnt know what hes doing, where as he just might have a different *better game theory then any of us do
