    Hey Guys,

    I can't believe what happend at VT today, and I am sorry for the entire University and all of the families. I was thinking we could get together and do a charity tournament to Donate to the University to help with the victims' families, counseling, and the overall healing process. I know GB did a charity tournament in the past, and I was hoping he could help me organize this. I already sent an email to pokerstars and I am waiting to hear back. I was thinking we could donate 100% of the winnings and have members donate some Prizes for the final table of the tournament. Thanks and my thoughts go out to the entire University.

    I can create one now. I am going to give this some time and see what everyone thinks in a few days. If everyone still thinks this a good idea I can set one up for next week. I just need to figure out how we will Donate the entry fees, as it appears to set up a standard pay out. If anyone know how we can do this please let me know.

    Though I'm sure your heart is in the right place, I think the number 1 thing to do right now is to wait and let the dust settle, so to speak.

    See who needs things and who doesn't. Some of the people injured may need a lot of money for rehab, others may not need any financial support.

    This will likely be a great idea, I think we should wait until the whole story (or at least more of it) is out before any benefits are planned.

    If the general consensus is to wait, then that is what we will do. I am still waiting to hear back from Poker stars, and will edit the info in the original post when I get it. Thanks guys.

    I'll play up to 20$, if the buyin is higher just tell me a SN to ship to, I really feel for those kids man, that's a fucked up thing to happen during what should be a very carefree time in your life.

    I'm in. Got exactly $20 left on stars and I have been looking for a way to get rid of it. Seems like a good idea. Just let me know when it is.

    We should do something similar to what we did when Buckinator passed away. have a $0.01 + $20 tourny. or something like that.

    We could lobby stars to make a public tourny so anyone can join and help out. P5er or not.
