Waiting for Tables to Finish PopUp on Party

    I sent an email to partypoker asking them to get rid of the stupid popup that comes up when we are playing hand for hand. It sure seems like the banner across the table would be enough to inform us that we are hand for hand. That popup is annoying and halfway freezes what I'm doing... typing in chatbox, emails, etc...

    Anyway, I can only assume others are fed up with this popup, too. As a community, if we send emails to Party, they will do something about it. So, I'm asking that you do send an email if you're sick of this thing, too. Their response to me seemed to indicate that I was in the minority of players thinking this was annoying. In the tournaments, however, it seems like everyone is sick of it. Thanks and good luck to all.

    That popup would bother me also but I suck so bad at MTTs that I haven't made it that far in a while.
    You're right though. That is really bad programming practice to make a modal popup that the user must respond to after every single doggarn hand until hand for hand is over.

    As a side note, I would just as soon get rid of hand for hand until the tournament is down to 10 or 11 players (depending on whether the final table is 9 or 10)

    I stopped playing at party poker because I got so tired of the hand- for -hand starting so early. I played in a Stud tourney with 24 entries. 3 places were paid so we started hand-for-hand with 13 players left in. Crazy! Ill stick to pokerstars.
    Like you i emailed Party Poker but they didnt seem interested.
