    Umm... This dude is an atrocious writer. His article had no point, substance, or thought. WTF was the point of this article? Was it pro/anti poker? Was it informative? Nope. WTF is going on there? I still don't know.

    However, I do know that Carl Bialik just wasted about 45 seconds of my life. F you Carl, you suck. How do you make blanket statements and provide no support for your arguments? You are one lazy douche. And lol @ people getting paid for that shit.

    its easy to demonstrat poker its a game of skills.
    when a doctor make a operation and give to his pacientes 80% to live or 20% to die is gamble?
    When the cop tell to the victim is 70% to find who is gultty is gamble?
    etc....
    If all of this is not gamble then poker is not gambilg,if all of that are gamble then poker is gambling.

    what he's saying...in some very odd way...is that in other professions there are probabilities of success as well and if that is accepted as "non-gambling" then so should poker.
