Pokerbot For Sale

The Pokerbot's History

Two years ago I decided to make a pokerbot, entirely from scratch, that plays limit holdem on pokerstars. I wrote the interface to the site, and I wrote the decision logic. After 9 months of hard work, I had a logic that was just slightly better than break even. So I pushed hard for two more months and was in the money. Then, over the past year or so, I sat back and generally enjoyed the freedom that comes from a pokerbot making all your money. My golf game improved, for sure. I've also continued to refine the bot so that it can move up in stakes, play different games and sites, etc.
Friends of mine have asked me why I don't sell the bot to others. My answer is obvious: why would I want to risk damaging my enterprise by exposing my technology? Recently though, I've changed my mind a bit.
I've decided to sell

I'm going to accept bids on the software as it stood when it was slightly better than break even at low stakes (up to 25c/50c) full ring limit holdem. Since then I've created enough distance between that version and my current version that we won't be in direct competition. I'm only looking to sell one instance of the software to one person or team. That way you'll know nobody else has your software as you look to make it profitable for yourself.
Of course, as I'm only selling one copy, you would be free to turn around and sell it again. Essentially, I will put no restrictions on what you go and do with it. You can be assured that I will not dilute the market at all though.
Who would buy this?

I anticipate that the person most interested in buying the software has a strong desire to create a custom pokerbot, but would appreciate a leg up. By buying the software you'd essentially jump ahead 9 months or more in your development cycle. If you're smart and work hard, you're just a couple months away from having a solid profit machine.
This is not something you can turn on and instantly start making enough money to quit your day job. I don't believe any pokerbot like that exists. If it did, why would the creator sell it, as opposed to simply running it more frequently himself? That reasoning is exactly why I haven't looked to sell my software before. Only reacently have I realized that I could sell an older version of my software. After you improve it yourself, it should be sufficiently different from mine, so that we won't compete directly.
To appreciate the profit potential, just run the numbers of how much can be made using several accounts, with each account playing multiple tables, at a modest earn rate of 1 big bet per hour per table. Just imagine a single account playing 10 tables, earning $1/hr at each table. That's $10/hr in the most simple state, at a modest earn rate on a single account. If you expand it, the profits only go up.
Are you interested?

I'll only share details of how the software is architected with serious prospects. A major advantage of this software over something like WinHoldem is that nobody, including the poker sites, know that it exists or how it works. So that you know I'm legit and not some fly-by-night scam, I would of course be willing to show serious prospects a demo and discuss the architecture.
If you're interested in learning more and making a bid, please contact me at mypokerbot(at)gmail.com.

Is this crap for real? If it is it doesn't seem like you can make much money.
