warning: sno0owman ON POKERSTARS JUST GOT HACKED

    Details to come, but sno0owman on pokerstars just got his account hacked few minutes ago.

    Do not play him

    He was sitting at 3 tables of 25-50 PLO HU vs Skjervøy

    I sat down at a table and asked him to call me, he took off right away. I then emailed stars to warn about this and few minutes later, the real sno0owman confirmed my fear: he got hacked.

    I have just sent another email to warn stars and hopefully they will lock the account asap.

    If he did get hackd you prob saved him like 15-20k by this, way to be a good friend compton.

    Nice save..

    I once tried to help a friend I saw tilting and playing PLO HU against Compton.. Even Compton tried to get me to warn him, but he was stubborn.. Compton won at least 10 BI's, nothing you can do when someone wants to tilt money..

    Just curious tho, how do so many players get hacked? Do they just share their log in info too much, or are people actually hacking their systems and planting things?

    RSA Device on pokerstars prevents this, its so cheap in the FPP store now depending on your VPP status, there is no reason to not have one. Its still nice to hear friends looking out for friends..

    the OP's post shows everything thats good about online poker, people looking out for the game and fellow players, we get too many post about cheaters and people taking others money, it's good to know good people are actually out there.

    the account was locked few minutes after the email was sent, the hacker didnt have time to dump or xfer any money, so now the power is in stars hands, gonna take a while to figure it out i guess because the hacker actually won 27K on the account, but lost 5K on FTP and 2k on cake. (he hacked through email and asked for new passwords on every sites).

    now the funny/weird part is that he contacted sno0owman and asked for a reward, he said he was entitled to a % of the winnings (which sno0owman probably wont get to keep anyways), and is totally dellusional, he was calling himself the ''robin hood of poker''. took me a while to post updates because we werent sure whats the best play here, and we know the hacker reads 2+2 because he mentioned my thread in the conversation he had with sno0owman on AIM. i was thinking we could bait him with a reward and try to get his name and location. anyone know where should i give the info i have to help catching him?
