No offence to this player -- we all make mistakes -- but when I saw this guy's play I thought it might be worth posting as a lesson for any1 new to MTT's.

I agree he should put the money in preflop, but I personally don't think the check/call is so bad. The reason to stop & go is to manufacture fold equity against better hands. If he shoves in on the flop, no hands better than A10 are folding, so he might as well let you bet.
