I think results greater than 3 months and less than 1 year should be weighted and count towards the overall TLB. I think it should be as follows:

Most recent 3 months TLB points should be counted 100%
75% of earned TLB points for the past 3 - 6 month period should be counted
50% of earned TLB Points for the past 6 - 12 month period should be counted

The running 12 month TLB system would be the sum of these 3 weighted time periods.

obv recent results should count more towards a "current" TLB.
obv that older but still recent results have value towards a "current" TLB.

Another subject:
How I did my p-poll picks
- their skill level as I percieved it
- how they do / have done in BIG tounaments
- their ROI (as much as I could put it together)
- their volume and commitment / dependence to on-line play
- their recent results
- their past results
- previous P5's rankings (nobody follows on-line poker like Adam)
- ranking at ITH

How seriously I took my p-poll picks:
- I ranked a full 100 (only 99 counted because 1 dropped out on Wed)
- I revisited the rankings several times and massaged them (to try to weed out my personal bias. I really don't like players that take the fun out of playing)

- My #1 was "phatcat" because of his excellence in big tournies, consistancy over the last year and his humugo TLB points without the volume of other TLB leaders.
- My 2 - 5 in alpha order are Ari, bax, Rizen and Tmay
- My 6 - 20 in alpha order are AJ, ape, Below, B_O_K_E, iMso, Marvin, MrSmokey, PearlJammer, Rooth, SamE, shaniac, sheets, strassa, TheBeat, tsop.
- I'm really impressed with a couple of the newcomers and the TLB really brought to light those that have been killing it lately. I could not however put any of them in my top 20 unless they had previous big results over a long period AND big results in big tournies. kwob's WCOOP accomplishment was HUGE. Annette, ocrowe, Imper1um, lilholdem, hattrick, mig, skillz, #1pen etc have all been tearing it up lately and have impressed.
- On retro I think I short changed a couple of players. CrazyMarco for sure, this guy has been doing IT all year, has an excellent track record in big tournies and has played well when I have been at the table with him. Good thing about these rankings is that there is always next week.
- What to do about EXCELLENT on-line players that are now low volume. I guess guys like brsavage, foshio, colson and iMso get relagated to the "players to watch" section. Better idea would be to have an "On-Line Hall of Fame".
