It's the 5d 2r1a on stars.
this has been the table i started the tourney with. and haven't actually seen villain play much hands,so he is a pretty tight player.at least from the hands i've seen.
I have been pretty active at the table and calling a lot of 3bets but not making much 3bets my self coz it's still early
So usual way people play with JJ is 3bet and shove to a 4bet. But i always thought there is a different approach. as when u shove, they will call if they have a monster and fold if they have rags..
so i decided to call. and his shove on the flop is weird, would people shove with QQ+ IN THAT spot?
I post the results later.

If he's been nitty like u say, his range for cold 4betting is most likely QQ+ and AK...

As for the flop... Why did you check? What was your plan in the hand? to c/f? c/r? c/c? It's a pretty dry board and I think it's more likely that he's open jammed AK to get you out -
It's not impossible for him to shove QQ+ on this board. You showed strength pre so he probably credits you with an overpair to the board (88-JJ) and knows you won't fold on such a dry flop. But I do tend to think it's more likely AK...
I sigh call and fistpump when he shows AK or TT -

As am I, sick flop! NH
-
there's almost 6k in the pot and he has a little over 6.5k behind. any bet other than a shove would just scream huge strength, so considering what he had that's probably what he should have done. Im shoving that flop with QQ+ all day simply because any other bet is too transparent
