The shortstack Fonz had been giving his money away and i figured he had nothing and kropke limped in so I certainly did not credit him with a big PP(who limps with queens anyway?) although a set was certainly a concern. I had to call kropke's 22 dollar bet after the turn with about 200 bucks in the pot... -
You gambled and won. He thought TPTK was the nuts on that board. I don't think you played it wrong.

Those two items aren't mutually exclusive...you can be a donkey luckbox and still play a hand well.
In a cash game, I like your play fine here until the river. I think you could have gotten more than $30 out of him. The pot was $240, kropke's got about $110 in front of him...I don't know how he had been playing up to that point, but IMO you left $20 or $30 on the table. He's a calling station...he screwed up THREE TIMES where I think raises were necessary (pre-flop, then TWO CALLS on the flop...pleeeeze). He would have called more than $30 on the river...I probably wouldn't have put him to the test for his whole stack, but more than what you let him in for. -
werent you playing 5-10 earlier this week?
-
Yeah I play different levels, but at night the games are usually tougher at each level and I was 6 tabling 1-2NL, also there was not a lot of full tables at the higher limits last night. I knew someone would bring that up, lol.... Your right Graps, I thought about that right after the hand that I should have at least bet out 50 bucks...
