I don't enjoy cash games, and like I said in a previous post a combination of the same opponent + stagnant blinds, stack sizes, basically every single hand being the exact same as the hand before it bores me.

just curious, you said that cash games aren't your specialty but you could beat 25/50 while on your 'A' game. -
Do not have a clue who you are, with the exception of your reputation at the tables, which for the last several years, has been quite impressive.
I don't play the stakes you do, nor do I have a BR to do so. But since you seem to have started as a small-timer (which is where I am now) and part-time, I wouldn't mind picking your brain in terms of how you started regarding:
1. What BR did you start with?
2. What limits did you play (tourney/live)?
3. Did you ever have to "reload"?
4. What was the turn-around for you to be where you are now from the micro days?
Thanks for doing this man. Don't get a chance to talk to many pros with the exception of Sandler1860, and he's a hard man to catch at times.... -
while i was playing the other day i started thinking that with all the new articles and videos etc about playing a LAG style that it may actually be more profitable to start playing nittier. people are 3 and four betting lighter and lighter by the day so do you think the newest trend in poker may be to tighten up again to exploit all of the people raising light

Play the same as you always would, just maximize your $ev

- Mixed feelings, but definitely stings knowing that I was so close and what could have been.
Also prior to to '07 ME, how many live tournaments had you played?
- tons of home game tournaments so I was really comfortable handling chips and whatnot... played 2 tournaments at the local Indian casino, 1 tournament at LAPC around my birthday, and 3 WSOP events.
oh and does ptr Szigeti play poker?
- he used to dont know if he still does -
I know absolutely nothing about maven because hes a volume maniac and from my limited experience doesnt pay attention and just autopilots.

Papadelpoker is a maniac but isnt that far from fixing his leaks and being super sick.
Dont even know the other 2. -
JAM is actually really good. I havent watched him much online but I remember back in our home games he would always play really well and then get bored or something and tiltmonkey all his chips away. I always felt that if he kept his head on straight concentrated really hard he could do really really well.

What are your opinions on my game? what do u think i need to work on?
- you need to play more
What are the major mistakes you see winning online players make when transitioning to 10k live tournaments?
- forgetting that many players in the 10k events arent the same as the players in the 100r and adjusting. -
I probably fold with 50% equity but I think the 57% of AKo vs TT is too much to pass on so I get it in.

FWIW it was 07 (nbd) but I had ~5.5 million chips and was right around the middle of the field with 19 left. I open from my SB to 325k with TT (50k 100k blinds) and an aggressive ~25 year old somewhat of an internet player makes it 1 million to go and I jam my 5.5 million chip stack and he calls with AK. Flop AKx turn J river brick and I lose an 11 million chip coinflip to put me 2nd in chips. Villain goes on to bust 18th lol.

1. What BR did you start with? - $0 I guess, just whatever money I had as a random 18 year old
2. What limits did you play (tourney/live)? - started with $5 sngs on stars and built it up
3. Did you ever have to "reload"? - yes if that includes me cashing it out from time to time, but to be perfectly honest there was never a period of time where I was a losing player, I just only played games i could beat
4. What was the turn-around for you to be where you are now from the micro days?
- just put in a ton of hours
