Should I be folding here to pick a better spot? Can I fold since I flatted pre?
  2. id fold pre cuz of the 3x open and theres a cpl short stacks behind u who can move all in... 3b/f seems spewy, and 3b/c prob isnt profitable either so prob just fold... flatting isn't bad tho and once u see this flop and he bets like 5x pot, im not folding... if he has AQ+ congrats to him for playing it like a tool bc the only hand in ur calling range at this point that doesnt have AQ/AK beat is AJ so he loses value from the times he doesnt milk value out of 44-TT... Call off here and live with the result.

One of the best "quick" reply I have seen for days... Feed yourself from these info Bighaley.
  4. yeh pretty much vegaspwn's line. could do something different pre but once u see flop snap him off there you're good most of the time

  5. My problem with your question is simply the "Why" of the situation.

If you question the call after the flop comes A high........then why make the call pre flop?
Not to be harsh (not meant that way at all) but why would you call with AJ if you intend to lay down to an a C bet when the flop shows an A.............I can only assume that you were looking for a nut flush flop?

Dont think its a normal C-bet if you looked at the hand..

  7. Has he done this before, and you sure he didn't mistype 720 and put an extra 0 on the end?

But yeah as said above, this is the flope you wanted, and that bet could mean a lot of things but I wouldnt read it as stronger than a normal half pot bet.
  8. Any reads?
To me its all about how hes been playing, if hes not got out of line, what the hell is the donk bet for?
Hes made a standard raise pre, so you could assume hes got a pair or Ax, KQ, XXs maybe hes got AK & hes putting you on Ax, who knows.
He has a big stack could be splashing about, doubt hes missed everything though, hed be taking a big chance with the flop bet if he didnt have a big A or a set.
Usually they have it in small stakes when they bet like this, seems a bad way to play the hand but it very often works!
Id lean towards a fold, but like I said before, its a lot to do with reads if you carry on or not.
  9. I didnt have any reads. Only hand I saw him play was KK which he busted out a player with a couple hands before this..
