What was the biggest overlay tourney ever?

    Was explaining overlays to my girlfriend and why they happened and she asked me waht the biggest one ever was.

    I didn't really have an answer, there was some crazy one of absolute a few months ago, but does anyone remember any really crazy overlays in the last few years? Some underexposed tourney that had some insane guarantee?

    And yea, it's a slow day and I figured we could use a break from the tiffany michelle thread.

    Before Mansion moved to Ongame, they had a daily 100k $100 buy in that usually got only 500-600 players so around half the prizepool overlay. they ran this for like 3 mths

    Dtrain quoted the one I remember clearest. Mansion was consistently donating about 60% of the prize pool...way worse than Bodog has ever done with their Sunday $100k.

    A couple years ago, I remember titan running something huge one Sunday, like a $500 buy-in $500k guaranteed or something, and giving away about $300k. That's the biggest single figure that comes to mind.

    and i disagree.... i have a valid point... he doesnt specify what he wants so you cant assume he means %.

    I played this and it had 331 players in it, was so ridiculous, they got rid of it shortly after...

    No it happened there was still an overlay it was just not nearly as big due to the week long postponement........

    Mansion poker 100k the first couple times it ran...$100 buyin i think like 350-425 entrants...so crazy

    200k guarantee, prize pool would usually be like 120k, once it was like 80-90k

    Also the titan 1m, 1k buyin, only got 550 runners

    I'm sure there are some other huge overlays I'm forgetting

    About 3 years ago the party $109 with a 40k guarantee once had ~12 runners because the client crashed for about 4 hours before the tournament started.

    2 poeple busted and the remaining players insta chopped.
