  2. Hellmuths "How to cry like a baby" really helped me out the most...but really...his book "How to play poker like the pros" has helped me out a lot.

    Dark Shadows and Mhoddi's book "500 one liners
    for posting on p5s" has prolly had the most impact
    on me.

    For poker it's close between S/S, The Theory of Poker,
    and Tao of Jeet Koon Do.

  5. Hellmuths book made me a winning player. Psychology of poker is the best book out there for advanced players IMHO. Most of sklanskys books are good, but boring.

  12. Although the answers above are probably more helpful, I would recommend books written by Dan Harrington or Doyle Brunson. Both have received great reviews.
  13. potlimit/no limit holdem, by TJ cloutier, i read this 2 years ago when i was getting serios about poker and this really made a difference
