just wondering
-
On Poker stars... 100% if im playing against them and 1% if Im holding them.
More importanly what are the chances of making a flush with unsuited cards? -
odds double because you can make 2 flushes with unsuited cards obvvv
-
If you hold two suited cards you have a 1% chance to flop a flush.
-
i mean when all the cards are dealt
-
About the same chance of my Ax holding over KJ... about 6%
-
Diamonds hit the most flushes and that is the God's honest truth. FACT.
-
50/50, either it happens or it doesn't
-
A lot better than your chances if the cards are not of the same suit.
-
the same as your odds of getting a legit answer=0%
-
the best hand to hit a flush or striahgt is Ten Five off suit, with one off suit being a diamond.
No matter what cards come you ALWAYS have a straight draw, and you chances of flopping a flush draw increase to 97%, while you odds of hitting that flush, because you have T5, pokerstars' favorite hand, you wll have a flush 93% of the time by the river, and a straight the other 7% of the time. -
spade flushes >>>> diamond flushes
quality over quantity -
Well, if you are still looking for a serious answer I believe its as follows...
If you hold suited cards....
1 in 116 times you will flop a made flush.
1 in 11 times you will flop a flush draw.
1 in 2.5 times your flush draw will hit.
1 in 30 times you will hit a flush if you see all 5 cards. <-- Not positive about that one -
6%

Suppose you have any two suited cards and you get to see all five cards .
Using combinatorics , you need three in that suit to make a flush from 50 remaining cards .
There are 13-2 =11 cards in that suit and you need three of them to appear .
Once you've selected 3 cards in that suit , there are 39 non flush out cards left .
11C3 * 39C2/ 50C5 = 0.057 or 5.7 % which will happen about 1 in 16 attempts .
I've excluded the case where 4 or 5 flush cards in that suit appear but it is negligible .
