  5. haha if you dont know what to do here how did you even get this far
  6. I want to believe this is a level, but I don't actually think it is.

    Fold fo sho. Just click the check/fold box when the hand is dealt to make things easier. Zero thought to calling any action at the table with this, except for razzuru's shove for just over 1 BB.

    Lol, no not a level. I am getting over 1.5 -1 to call, and he is shoving 8.5 BB's , which means he should be shoving pretty wide. I figured he's shove any pair, any 2 broadway cards, MAYBE some weak aces, and suited connectors 87+ . If I'm 40% against that range, then a call is mathematically correct. I don't run pokerstove while playing, I just try to estimate.

    I thought it was a marginal spot, guess I'm in the minority. If I was a bigger stack, or getting closer to 2-1, would be a easy call right?

  8. u have <14bbs, and willing to put in 8bbs w J8 hoping you're 40/60?
    muck imo
  9. I dont care what the math says, fold it quick.
  10. It's 29340 to call and 74140 will be the pot.

    29340/74140 = 39.54%.

    Using cEV only, you'll have to win the hand 39.54%+ of the time against whatever range he's shoving.

    Before we can make a +cEV call, we would have to put him on this range or looser:

    {22+ Ax, K7s+ KTo+ Q9s+ QJo J8s+ T8s+ 98s 87s}

    Hope that helps!
  11. Thanks for the thoughtful analysis, Jen. The range I put him on was just a bit tighter than that, so in retrospect it was a fold.
