  1. i'm in the big blind and have over average stack with 54 suited in spades.

utg limps and a player in middle position limps too. the BU limps and i decide

to check coz a raise won't bring much to fold on this family pot.

flop is 356 two cards hearts. I do a minbet oop and i get 2 callers and the

BU raises to 6 BB. for me it looks like its a protection bet (he has set or

two pair or already straight and afraid of a flush) and i fold coz i dont think

my OESD and middle pair is much here and other 2 callers may draw so i

won't get my OESD anyway and I'm behind vs any 6x or above mentioned

made hands. the utg guy calls this massive bet and the turn comes with 4.

utg checks and button goes all in. utg calls has a6 and button shows 74 for

straight. river is a 5!!! so i would get my runner runner FH when i stayed in

but would never call the turn with my 2 pair coz BU obvious has straight

    or at least set.

now my question: would you play this hand different in any way ?

would you raise preflop ? would you call this massive reraise on fllop with

just middle pair and OESD when you would know the 2 other callers on flop

    already take your drawing outs?

I'm 100% sure i played the hand right when folding to his massive raise on flop...

    What do you think ?
  2. - A raise big enough preflop would have got folders and a call would give you a better idea of what villian has as hes not likely to call a big raise preflop with rags. However if some1 was slow playing and you get reraised your stuff. Theres more then one way to win at holdem. I think a check or a raise is fine here

    - I wouldnt have min raised the flop. Its a weak continuation bet for how much is in the pot. A call still leaves you uncertain of villians holdings and you can get bullied by a reraise even if villian has nothing. However in your case you managed to save chips as you were an underdog at the flop.

    - Folding was right on flop, without considering results, i feel was correct unless vbig reraiser was short staked and nearly all in.

Im not a professional and hopefully some1 will come along and say what they think about this hand too. This is just my two cents :P
  3. i preffer to fold here since i dont know what the other two players will do behind me, this def looks like 2pair or top pair
type of hand. plus you indicated by your min bet that you have SOME KIND OF DRAW therefore his reraise with top pair
is justified. anyways, this is a good fold although you wouldnt have mind him calling and seeing the turn safely.
you would get more info by checking becuz a6 villain bets and 47 villain will reraise with straight then u can muck ur hand
and saved ur self that min bet.
