  1. 15 players left in a live MTT. 270$ buy in already in the money. Blinds just went up to 8/16k 2k ante and I have 99 in the BB. Avg stack is 130k and alot of shorties including me with 87500 behind after my 16k bb. Utg moves all in 140k, short stack calls for 65k and woman in small blinds goes all in for 137500. Do you call or fold? 15th is 540$ and creeps up about 50-100 a spot until 1033 for 9th. 10k to first. I will post results after some replies. Reads on players is utg is older man hadnt played but 2 hands since I moved to his table about 40 mins earlier 77 and kQ, short stack has been playing tight and women had just lost back to back all ins to double up two short stacks, but had been playing a lot of hands.
  2. I think it's very situation dependent. I don't think it's bad no matter what you decide. Live players are usually tighter but I probably call given the odds because I want a stack before reaching final table.

  3. Definite fold. More likely to be in a flip with hands like AJ, AQ and they are likely to hit.
  4. 99 is not so great against 3 others. fold and instantly move up at least one spot as someone is going to the house after that hand. You will have to be small blind with 77K, but...what might have happened at the other table? You could have folded to the final table with 99.
  5. I fold and I'm not too upset about it. With all that action I don't think you're ever against overs. I'm thinking that at least one of the players has a real pair so I can fold there knowing that I'm in the SB next hand and I'll have some time to hopefully steal some blinds and antes in the next couple of hands.

  6. seems like ez muck, 99 on a 4way isnt exciting and watchn thm drop for xtra money is fun .pick a better spot

  7. Easy muck for me, but as a side point, what pair would you guys call with here? I'd muck 10s, definitely call with Qs and struggle knowing what to do with JJs........
  8. ez fold with all that action, UTG player playing supertight along with another tight shortstack moving in behind... i think even a 5th grader is instamucking!!
