  2. Raise call a shove

  3. Is this pre or post rebuy/add on period..

The answer is still the same. Im all in.. If its pre rebuy period good. Get it in. Double up. If its post add one period. You need some chips to compete.

Even I know this is pretty terrible. We raise and the limper flats we have a terrible postflop play stack with a terrible postflop play hand.

id be more inclined to straight shove. i feel like if we raise we dont get shoved on by pairs lower then 77. maybe 77 shoves but thats about it. and we may get shoved on by crap like A 10 and stuff. if we shove we eliminate some hands were racing against uneccessarily.

ughhh i just saw its a 2$ buy in, so what i said applies to bigger stuff. in this id raise call since bad players LOVE pocket pairs and will gladly shove 22 here.

  8. ok thats all I needed, thanks all. I told him to shove pre over the limp I just wanted to make sure thats what was optimal.

This. If you raise, the limper or even someone else flats here so often and you'll get fucked on a ton of boards where you'll spew by cbet/folding or giving up postflop altogether.

definetly not terrible, why wouldnt you want to get flatted, you have a good hand and have posistion and your crushing a random donks flatting range.

I PM'd this hand to two top p5ers/MTT'ers and they hadnt responded thats why I posted it. But they've both gotten back to me and both said this is 100% a shove and just raising is the worst option.

agree with shoving and the logic from the last 2 quotes

  13. If it's after rebuy period you're probably in bottom 80% in chip count. I shove this every single time.
  14. i agree with shoving in this spot as well but saying that raising is horrible is wrong. the only horrible play you can make here is to fold. limping isnt even that bad if you have active players on your left who will raise/squeeze light. shove>raise>limp>>>>>>> fold.

  15. w/out reads I'd shove.

Hey LN, and I agree, definitely jamming most of the time here. Or MAYBE raise calling if I think the limper is gonna spazshove but really I almost always just jam this.
