I know its only a 22 dollar bird but im sure hes not getting outta line with nothing very first hand. Maybe J10 or 55.
What do you think? -
Pretty strong line on his part. Could def see him showing up with 55 or j10 with his flop raise on a pretty weak board. Is he a winning player?
-
these are tough spots for me too... if were planning on folding to whats basically a blank on the river (granted he didnt backdoor you) should we be folding that turn? Why call the turn if your plan is to fold to a river bet i guess idk? i suck and have trouble in these spots too
-
He has AJ or KQ, I call.
-
yea i agree i guess i just didnt wanna let it go to such a bad player but im sure he had me crushed dont see why he'd take that line with nothing.
-
Could QJ+ also be in his range here? Or would he check-call you down?
Maybe you need to find out how strong he is by 4betting the flop/fold.
When you called the turn, was it to see if he would bet strongly on the river. Which bet would you have called on the river? -
no
-
so, was ur play the right one, just calling and folding to a strong riverbet? Or is there another better line?
Is it better to call his 3bet on the flop and call his turnbet instead of losing chips with a 4bet on the flop if you have to fold to a 5bet?
It already makes sense to me :)
So some say go broke on the flop, you folded the river, any other options? -
flop was bet/raise, there is no 3 bet at this point

and i don't think this is anywhere near the best way to play the hand, i don't like basing decisions on what randoms will or will not do on future streets, anyone can spazz, make the decision on the flop, either fold, call intending to call 2 more streets almost 100% including on a board like this or 3 bet/get it in, i could imagine doing any of the 3 but 22 fo random im 3 bet/getting it in -
Why hasn't a flush poss. been mentioned?
-
why such a small raise, So you could fold if you were beat. I think I would have repopped on the flop ans see whats up.
-
I will call
