The guy had been raising the blinds regularly which I was folding to, so this was the first time I pushed back. What would you call with?

From a rational player(straight forward) you get calls from top ten type hands (AA,KK,QQ,JJ,TT, AK and maybe AQs, 99, 88 if they want to race).
Your push gives him pot odds to call with a wide range of hands.
he bets 600 you push 1610 and he already gets 2:1 or better. He's priced in to a race with any pair. iF he puts you on small pairs or two big cards. [Q,7] being the medium average hand against your push range..
Pot 750 + 1610 = 2360
Pot odds 2360:1010 = 2.34:1 or TOP 30% hand

5 handed, raises from the button. He's got a big stack so he can affot to flough off chips.
pot odds are 2.3:1 meaning he only needs a 30% chance to win to justify calling, So I'm gonna go ahead and say he's insta calling you as long as one card is a ten or higher.
If I'm the guy on the button I either raise to 450, and can then reasonably fold to your reraise if I'm raising with air, or I simply go all in because a raise to 600 or more 100% commits him to the hand. So it's hard for me to say that the villian played it exactly like I would.
My hand range there from the button is probably J9+, Q7+, K5+, A2+, 33+, and with any of those hands I insta call your push based on pot odds.
overpair v underpair 80.5/19.5
overpair v suited connectors 77.5/22.5
AKs v A2o 75/25
AKo v ATs 69/31
AKs v 72o 69/31
TT v J4s 68/32
AK v Q7 67/33
AJ v K3 64/36
With only needing 29% to call he's pretty calling with any two cards he raised with. -
And any two it was Damo ... he flips over 65off and hits his two pair on the turn. gg me
